Mercer Island – Mercer Heights

Custom Cabinetry
Originally built in the 1960s, this Mercer Island rambler had mid-century charm but a layout that lacked cohesion—particularly with a kitchen located in a back corner addition that once served as a covered patio. We restructured the roofline and removed a central masonry fireplace to open up the heart of the home, creating a kitchen that feels both expansive and connected. Flat-panel walnut cabinetry, dual islands, and a dedicated baking zone bring warmth and function to the space. A sculptural chandelier doubles as art in the dining room, while the family room was transformed into a welcoming space for gathering and conversation.
