A mid-century modern home nestled in the tree-lined enclave of Parkwood Ridge had lost its connection to its architectural roots and no longer reflected the homeowners’ personality. A thoughtful reimagining transformed the former galley kitchen into a wide, expansive layout, while the addition of Fleetwood windows brought in abundant natural light and framed views of the Japanese garden beyond.

Guided by the client’s desire for simplicity with impact, the design balances clean lines with statement moments. The entry and living spaces feature rich walnut paneling details, complemented by playful hanging furnishings that add texture and movement. A modern reinterpretation that honors its classic origins while bringing renewed clarity and character to the space.
